Live Art
Toisissa tiloissa (Other Spaces)
A member of the live art collective since 2013
Other Spaces (known as Toisissa Tiloissa in Finnish) is a Helsinki-based live arts collective, founded in 2004. The group consists of around 20 artists from several artistic fields and disciplines. Other Spaces invents and develops collective physical exercises through which people can imagine and be in contact with modes of experience and ways of being other than human. The group also performs demonstrations and organizes workshops.
I have been a member of Other Spaces collective since 2013 and participated in numerous productions as a member of the artistic working group, including: Rhizome, The Angle of Water 104.45°, Great Barrier Reef and Avalokiteshvara Superclusters . In 2013, I was involved with the Olives and Stones performance at the Finnish Alvar Aalto Pavillion in the 55th Venice Biennale.

Kati Korosuo: Artist is at home
Member of the working group (moving image) • 2022
The Artist Is at Home is a banal spectacle from a narcissistic artist for a scandal yearning audience. Documentary footage and use of self as material are highlighted in its egocentricity to the point of annoyance.

Jessica Warboys: Hoop Eye Dance Trance
Performance in film and live events • 2016-2017
British artist Jessica Warboys’ film and performance combines dance, painting and sound to create a sketch of movement to music. The figure animates time and space, as the body cycles through a succession of eclectic gestures rooted in their dance training, anchoring them in the present to a rhythmic and fragmented soundtrack.
Live performances: SIC, URB Festival Helsinki 2016 • CAPC Musée d’art Contemporain de Bordeaux 2017 • Nida Art Colony of Vilnius Academy of Arts 2017

Cradle is an exhibition of Mari Hokkanen and Sanni Priha ́s recent collaboration, consisting offilm, sound, photography and props inviting the audience to act. From past ideas, documents collected over the years and biographical flashes the artists have constructed installations that simulate chapters and challenges from everyday life. The objective of the work is to soften our relationship towards daily experience.
